Lead singer Corey Taylor promised (and apologized) early on that the show would not be for the "casual Slipknot fans", as they would not play any songs written after 1999. Donning variations of their iconic masks, the band played the album in its entirety, forgoing their best known hits like "Duality" and "Psychosocial". Though (or perhaps, because) the setlist was limited to just the one album, it paid true and honest homage to the band's roots, and made for a nu-metal spectacular fit for real "maggots".
