With the 10 year anniversary of Rolling Loud's festival at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, a night of performances and familiar faces would become the centerpiece to Saturday's incredible show out.
After his set, I caught up with Ski Mask The Slump God, who posed for a few photos backstage. This year has been incredible for him, just coming off of Don Toliver's Hardstone Psycho World Tour, to performing on the main Amazon Music Stage at Rolling Loud, right before Don Toliver and Travis Scott's headlining set that night. With his electric energy, and incredible year over-all releasing his newest album 11th Dimension just this past summer, Ski had the crowd energy on full affect for the performance, and his longevity in the music scene continues to shine.
As well as artists, social media stars came through for Saturday's performances. With hit Youtuber and streaming sensation Young Dabo taking a moment to pose for some photos, a day before he would be brought on stage and perform with hit rap artist Playboi Carti.
To close out Saturday night, Travis Scott did something no would never expect. With his headlining performance starting at 11pm, fans awaited what exciting entrance Travis would bring to the stage, and he didn't disappoint. As the crowd looked up to see a helicopter soar close over, a livestream would begin showing what appeared to be Travis flying over head and landing closely behind center stage, before taking an armored vehicle to fans awaiting his arrival. Travis most certainly didn't disappoint in his performance either, playing a new track, a collection of his most notable hits, and even bringing out surprise guest and acclaimed actor Owen Wilson to the stage, where he would lead the charge in starting Travis' FE!N, screaming "I'M FE!NING FOR MORE" to start the song. Even through a downpour of rain in the midst of his performance, Travis only upped his energy on stage and powered through, keeping everyone engaged, an incredible close to Saturday's performances at Rolling Loud Miami 2024.
