Suki Waterhouse Sparkled In Boston

Suki Waterhouse Sparkled In Boston

Singer-songwriter, “Model, Actress, Whatever,” Suki Waterhouse, graced the Roadrunner stage as part of The Sparklemuffin Tour. Waterhouse had a monumental 2024, welcoming her first baby in March and releasing her second baby (second studio album), Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, in September. Fans filled the venue to the brim, packing in to witness the magic of Waterhouse’s live performances. To excite and unite fans, Waterhouse prepared aesthetics for each show. In a post shared to Instagram, she wrote, “I’ve selected four chapters from the memoir, each with its own story & song to match for the different sections of tour,” with Boston marking the final show of chapter three. Warm browns and reds made up the vision board, phrases like “frozen muse” and “haphazard fashion” described the theme of the night, and the addictive song “Blackout Drunk” wrapped up the concept in a pretty little bow. Waterhouse poured her creative vision into every aspect of the production. All corners of the stage were draped with trees and other flora, transporting the venue to the set of the album cover.

The singer wove a web of joy throughout the show, immersing the audience in her forest dream world. Fan favorites were sprinkled across the setlist, with the explosive track “OMG” infusing energy into the venue at the beginning of the night. Waterhouse held the excitement by dancing across the stage and interacting with the audience whenever possible. She constantly complimented everyone’s outfits and expressed her gratitude for being back to perform in Boston. A hush fell over the venue whenever the spotlight reflected off the disco ball that hung from the ceiling. The gorgeous light bounced off her sequined black bellbottoms and highlighted the giant web in the center of the stage.

Waterhouse returned for a two-song encore, saving her most viral hit, "Good Looking," for last. The singer emerged from behind the stage to thunderous applause, sharing how she and her band were chatting about how amazing the crowd was. The siren song left a bittersweet feeling in the air, with fans wishing the night could last forever. Waterhouse and her band gathered for one final bow before escaping behind the stage. The passion each performer exuded was evident to every person in the room. The attention to detail reflected in the set design, merchandise, setlist, and overall performance created an unforgettable night for all.
