North Coast Music Festival Returns for the 14th Year

The popular Chicagoland music festival recently announced its return on their streak of Labor Day weekends, this year falling on Friday, August 30th to Sunday, September 1st at the return location of Seatgeak Stadium (formerly known as Toyota Park and past home to the Chicago Fire) in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Last year "coasties" ended their weekend as Flume and Gigantic NGHTMRE (Big Gigantic b2b NGHTMRE) closed out the festival after a three day labor day weekend event, leaving many excited and wondering what would be in store for the year 2024. About four weeks ago NCMF unveiled their first phase including 25 acts such as up and coming artists; ALLEYCVT, Hamdi and Tape B along with headliners Above & Beyond, Alan Walker and DJ Diesel (who we all know as Shaquille O'Neal). Three weeks after the debut, the event released single day tickets and three stage lineups welcoming back The Stadium, The Vega and The Shipyard. Last year The Shipyard made its first appearance, which appeared to be a crowd favorite based on the data received from a survey that was sent out to all attendees.

Other installations that are projected to make a return this year are The Chill Dome (the best place to cool down and relax while vibing out), Incedia's Fire Pit Stage (a geometric dome that shoots fire), the NCMF Yacht Club (a boat located in the GA area of The Shipyard Stage), The Ferris Wheel (a new addition that was added this last year), and Club Coast (a secret location speakeasy). VIP tickets will include one free ride for the weekend, Platinum VIP will include one free ride per day and general admission will be charged for Ferris Wheel rides - totally worth it for the night time views and amazing photo ops.

It's been two weeks since single day lineups were dropped. Fans are eagerly awaiting the phase two lineup with speculations as to who else North Coast has planned. Seven blurred lines remain unknown and more to play The Fire Pit, Chill Dome, Silent Disco and Club Coast. There is no known date as of now as to when its second phase will be announced, though with the timeline so far I would assume it may be in the next week or two (but don't hold me to it).
