Hinds at the Brighton Music Hall

Hinds at the Brighton Music Hall

Hinds brought their infectious energy and indie charm to a packed Brighton Music Hall in Boston on October 28, 2024. The room buzzed with excitement as fans gathered to experience the unique, raw vibe that the Spanish quartet has perfected over the years. The night opened with San Diego's The Happy Return, who set the tone beautifully with their sunny, surf-rock sound, warming up the crowd and providing a perfect complement to Hinds' playful, gritty style.

When Hinds took the stage, they wasted no time diving into the evening’s setlist, kicking things off with the high-energy “BBB.” The crowd roared, echoing every chorus as Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote shared vocals, their voices blending with both urgency and joy. Their charisma was palpable, drawing everyone into a performance that felt both intimate and electric.

“Coffee” followed, its catchy riffs and relaxed rhythm casting a dreamy spell over the room, while “Burn” ignited the night with its spirited energy, turning the floor into a dance party. "Riding" kept the energy high, and "Stranger" showcased the band's knack for capturing bittersweet emotions with a lighthearted twist. The Boston crowd, already hooked, swayed along with “Bed,” a track that added a touch of softness to the otherwise charged set.

Hinds kept the tempo dynamic with “GBT” and “Superstar,” tracks that showed off their punchy guitar work and knack for catchy hooks. The audience sang along, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a gathering of friends than a traditional concert. “Garner” and “Bon Voyage” continued to pull at the crowd’s heartstrings, their heartfelt lyrics and passionate delivery underscoring the band's growth and versatility.

In a playful encore, the band closed with “DC,” a fan favorite that wrapped up the night with a burst of energy. Brighton Music Hall felt alive with the spirit of indie rock, and Hinds reminded Boston why they’re a force to be reckoned with. This performance was a testament to their talent, infectious energy, and the sense of joy they bring to every stage. It was a memorable night, leaving fans on a high, already eager for their next return.
