From his breakthrough casting of Austin from Disney’s “Austin and Ally” series, he was confident to not fall into the generic path fellow child-actors of Hollywood did, and actively began a startup to his musical career.

Creating the band “R5”, in, 2009, his musical endeavors would soon take flight in a new path to his career alongside his siblings Rocky, Rydel, and Riker Lynch. After disbanding R5 in 2018, The Driver Era would blossom into the now established and popular band we know and love today.

With their announcement of the North American leg of tour back in February, their audience of fans would go on to sell out show after-show upfront, leading up to their performance on Hampton Beach in New Hampshire.

Hampton Beach to many is a quiet, peaceful town on the outskirts of the state, but this audience was far from this public persona. With an electrifying audience, the venue roof felt it might rip off with its cheers and roars from the crowd. As opener “VALE” took the stage, it seemed everyone knew the words to every song, and did not just come for The Driver Era alone. With love from the audience, this precursor performance from VALE would soon open doors for what would be a memorable performance from Ross and Rocky.

As The Driver Era took to the stage, with an eerie entrance from Ross and Rocky Lynch emerging from a cloud of smoke, it was clear there is something seriously special about this band. The volume of the crowd never gave up through the entire performance and the energy was audibly apparent. Playing some of their hit songs, and interacting with the crowd, they even would return to the stage after waves of "One More Song!" took over the audience late into the night. This portion of tour in North America is definitely something for the books, as they begin their European leg of the tour in the coming weeks, they are sure to grow further mainstream with each show.
