FAN EXPO Returns to Denver with Expanded Lineup
For the first time ever they're adding on an extra day, switching up the three-day 4th of July weekend into a four-day run filled with nostalgia from with your favorite celebrities and pop culture panels and activities.
The annual event hosted at the Colorado Convention Center is proud to announce their return dates of Thursday, July 4th to Saturday, July 7th. The large-scale event is slated to have the cast from popular 90's television series such as 'Charmed' and 'Saved by the Bell' - which those will include appearances by Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan, Holly Marie Combs, and Mario Lopez. Fans were surprised to hear celebrities Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee from 'My Name is Earl', Ben McKenzie from 'Gotham' and Michelle Hurd from 'Star Trek: Picard' announced within the first run of celebrities while anxiously awaiting the second wave of who might be making their way down to the heart of Denver.
On April 30th - the second wave was introduced which included 'Mythbusters' star Adam Savage, Morena Baccarin from 'Deadpool', and 'Lord of the Rings' actor Andy Serkis. Those who attended last year's Expo may have remembered a couple of familiar faces from the film series 'Harry Potter' (Tom Felton better known as Draco Malfoy and Bonnie Wright known as Ginny Weasley) - well Potter fans, Denver's about to be graced with the presence of the "Weasley twins" James and Oliver Phelps.
A couple of other celebrities that attended last year's event was Rose McGowan, who made a surprise guest appearance during the 'Scream' panel and as mentioned earlier will take part with the 'Charmed' cast. Richard Dreyfuss known best from 'Jaws' makes a return as last year he fell ill with altitude sickness -resulting in a panel cancelation, leaving fans disappointed but wishing him a speedy recovery.
More exciting announcements include a couple of new special events, the 'Wolverine' 50th anniversary panel and Frank Miller experience on Saturday the 6th along with the Ghost Machine launch celebration event on Friday the 5th. These events are not included in Fan Expo Denver's admission (Wolverine $150/Ghost Machine $550 + applicable fees and taxes) - each experience includes quite a bundle which you can view and purchase on Fan Expo's website.
