Boston, MA – Following Boston, a trailblazing collective of creative professionals, is proud to celebrate nearly a decade of fostering local talent and producing compelling digital content for brands and artists worldwide.

Founded in 2015, the organization has played a pivotal role in launching the careers of hundreds of photographers and media creators, leaving a lasting imprint on the digital media and storytelling landscape.

At the forefront of Following Boston is producer Michael Kalish, who founded the collective with the launch of Following Boston, a documentary series featuring 20 short films that spotlighted Boston photographers, including Kevin O’Leary—widely known as “Mr. Wonderful” from Shark Tank.

Following Boston’s reputation has been cemented through collaborations with some of the world’s most influential brands and institutions, including The Grammy Awards, Harvard University, HBO, Leica Camera, Marvel Entertainment, MGM Music Hall, and INBOUND, where the team supported an appearance by President Barack Obama.

These partnerships underscore the collective’s ability to merge innovation with high-profile exposure.

The organization’s dynamic portfolio includes exclusive festival coverage of headline acts at Boston Calling Music Festival, featuring Ed Sheeran, Tyler Childers, and The Killers.

Additionally, the team has produced exclusive interviews with Hollywood stars such as Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, and Mila Kunis, in collaboration with Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals.

Michael Kalish’s groundbreaking work and commitment to Boston’s vibrant creative community were recently showcased by NBC10 Boston. “This journey has always been about giving local creatives a platform to showcase their talents while connecting them to global opportunities,” said Michael Kalish. “We’re proud to have built a community where artistry thrives and to have collaborated with such exceptional brands and individuals.”
